Behind the Design

Created for Sunburn's Fall/Winter 2022 collaboration with Mantrino Records, this tote bag celebrates the shared values of music, community, and independent creative culture. Designed as both a functional everyday item and a collectible collaboration piece, it reflects the spirit that connects the two brands.

The artwork draws inspiration from Mantrino Records' unique approach to bringing people together through music, particularly their "Orkes Dansa Keliling"—a traveling dance orchestra that transforms public spaces into vibrant celebrations. The design captures the joy, movement, and sense of togetherness that define the collaboration, paying tribute to the power of music to unite communities across different places and cultures.
